About Punjab Kitchen (halal food) takeout only
Family owned, Traditional Pakistani kitchen serving dishes cooked fresh daily
Punjab Kitchen (halal food) takeout only is an indian restaurant in Augusta, Georgia. It is listed at 917 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA 30901, which places it among the local businesses of Augusta that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Augusta, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Georgia run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 amβ8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (706) 394-5393. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is punjabkitchenaugusta.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 154 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded indian restaurants in Augusta.
Augusta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Augusta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'll let pictures of the food speak for themselves, all of it went straight to tge garbage π, they call that lamb byriani, plane rice with few pieces of meat that I can't trust to eat. They had an old boiled egg on top of the omelet, imagine that. Nothing in order here i could trust to even taste, looking at this food brings back images I've seen in India with street food. I say one thing, STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE!

This was absolutely amazing! Such a delightful small spot. The food was absolutely incredible. The samoas were so fresh and awesome. The rice was absolutely perfect to go along with the curry that I got. I will absolutely be coming back here again and again. I highly recommend this place. It's such a chill spot and it's got such amazing wonderful food. If you come here, definitely get yourself a Samoa.

If you are craving for some good Pakistani/desi/indian food, this is your place to go. Yes, its a hole in a wall kinda place but the taste is far better than some of the fine dining Indian restaurants. I ordered a chicken Karahi and chicken biryani to go. Chicken Karahi, 10/10. Very flavorful and made differently. Chicken biryani 6/10 because it was a very bland Hyderbadi style biryani, more like a Pulao. So if u like that, it should be 10/10 for u. Few suggestions for the cook. Please add 2 naans with Karahi instead of one. Its too good to be finished with one. Secondly, please keep a light hand on tha garam masala. Food is tasty either way.

You wonβt regret this place!!! Absolutely delicious! The place isnβt much to look at but the food is an absolute delight! Prices are incredibly affordable.. we ordered about 5 plates and less than 60$.. we were pleasantly surprised! The Samoas are fresh and you can tell homemade.. the Biryani is fresh and meat is so tender!!! This place has an assortment of varieties. Spice levels are adjusted for everyone and service with a smile. You wonβt be disappointed at all!

A bit pricey, the chicken karahi was good but not a lot of food for $13, and the biryani was extremely skimpy on both meat and spices, I ended up having to add my own spices after because it just didn't taste very good. Far from the best.
